Ellie was only interested in one-to-one relationships, so as rakishly handsome as he was, Daniel Thackery wasn't her kind of man. But she had to keep him talking: he certainly seemed to be up to no good and even more importantly, he knew the whereabouts of her sister's estranged husband.
